Room size cramped. hard to fit a cabin bag. Poor soundproofing makes it difficult to ignore conversations from nearby apartments. Limited reception hours leave guests without assistance in the evenings. The bed was uncomfortably hard for some guests, and only one kettle for multiple rooms feels insufficient.

Fantastic stay at Pension Garibai. Perfectly located near the old town and only a short stroll to La Concha beach. The small balcony overlooking the street was a pleasant addition, offering a nice view. The room felt modern and clean, with fresh towels provided daily. Ana at reception provided a warm welcome and was approachable with any queries. The check-in process requires figuring out the access system, but once done, it felt secure with key card entry. Enjoyed the coffee machine in reception when it worked, but it was frustrating when it was out of order. One downside was the noise from the street, especially from nearby cafes in the evenings. The bed was slightly hard for my taste, but my partner had no issues. Overall, it’s a charming spot worth visiting, though the noise level might not suit everyone.

The stay was perfect for our exploration trip, thanks to the fantastic location just a stroll from both the beach and local eateries. I especially appreciated the owner’s willingness to assist with everything, from tips on where to buy beach towels to helping with transport arrangements. The daily cleaning service kept our room fresh, and I liked having coffee available, even if the machine broke down once during our 3 nights here.

The room was modern and clean, yet street noise was pretty distracting at night.

We had an amazing time staying here with friends! The location was super convenient, just a stroll away from the beach and the Old Town. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided great suggestions for local attractions like La Concha and some fantastic tapas spots. Definitely recommend it!
One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a hassle. We found it challenging to pull up close to the hotel when unloading our bags. It's best to check for a recommended parking garage beforehand.
